Connecting Humans
That’s what happened on October 24th at the 2nd “LinkedIn Local” gathering in Charleston, SC. We connected. LinkedIn Local is a new way for business professionals to join forces. It uses the power of social media to connect people in real life, with a purpose.
Speakers Thomas Heath and Curt Mercadante gave excellent training on how to use this professional social media platform for impact and growth.
The event is a non for profit. The admission ticket money is used to provide food and drinks for the attendees, the remaining money has been donated to “Code On,” an organization that helps underprivileged kids to learn to write software.
